Moving Day Crew
Load, carry, and unload with a trained crew lead. Strong backs welcome.

Packing & Sorting Helper
Wrap dishes, label boxes, and help a senior decide what comes along.
2 to 4 hours · no lifting
Moving Buddy
Sit with the senior on moving day. Coffee, conversation, and a steady hand.

First Night Crew
Make the bed, place furniture, and unpack the kitchen and bathroom basics. Keep the First Night Promise.

Driver
Drive a moving truck on move days, and deliver supplies and keepsakes.

Memory Keeper
Photograph a home before it’s packed for the Home Memories Package.

The basics
- 18+ for moving day crews (16 to 17 with a parent or guardian on the same shift)

Groups & companies
Bring your team
Companies, churches, and clubs can take on a whole move together: 5 to 10 people, one meaningful day. Youth groups can help with packing and First Night setup, with adult leaders.
A team day includes

Do I need moving experience?
No. Every volunteer gets a short orientation, and each crew has an experienced Pathways lead.
How often do I have to volunteer?
As often as you like. One shift a month is a great place to start. There’s no minimum.
Why a background check?
Our volunteers go into seniors’ homes, so we check every in home volunteer. It’s free to you and kept private.
